据资料介绍,韩国KCC氟碳涂料是以美国Atochem/North.America 公司生产的KYNAP500(PVDF)氟碳树脂为主要材料而生产的氟碳涂料,其(PVDF)≥70%。氟碳涂料的优良性能源于PVDF氟碳树脂,其原理是:氟树脂PVDF是把脂肪系碳氢分子结构中以氟原子替换成部分氢原子的聚乙烯吡咯唍酮,(Polyvivyl Pyrrole)具有最大负电荷的氟(F)原子和碳(C)间的氟-碳结合力高达105.4kcal/mol,这就意味着要破坏氟-碳结合至少需要105.4kcal/mol以上的能量。氟--碳结合距离为1.36A,这距离比碳-碳结合的1.54A还要短。因氟原子珠立体阻碍,其结构非常紧密,很难破坏氟--碳的结合。
